Wooden surround and Interior

For sale is this antique cast iron Arched fireplace insert, which has been restored fully and is beautifully presented. Cast between 1860-1870 with original foundry marks, it is a lovely piece of architectural heritage. The ironwork has been protective coated and polished to bring out its original character.
This is a classic Victorian chimney piece with refurbished wooden surround. The beautiful detail and quality can be seen in the pictures of the insert.
During restoration we replaced the fire stone and bolts where needed.
The reclaimed wooden fire surround has been sanded, primed, and finished in Farrow and Ball Ammonite paint. The finished result looks stunning.
This stunning fireplace was taken from a period cottage in Cheshire.
