Victorian Slate fire surround with tiled insert

This is an original late 19th century slate fire surround. This has been fully restored - taken apart and stripping many years of old paint. Oiled to bring out its original character.
The Victoria tiled insert has been professionally stripped and wire brushed. Finished in traditional black grate polish.
During restoration, we retained the original grate, bars ,mantle, ash pan cover, and flue damper. The final result looks superb and is functional .
It has discreet mounting lugs on the outside of the body for simple and safe installation.
