Removed from a library in a period house near Didsbury Manchester, this superb fireplace has been professionally refurbished by Duncan Reddy UK, a specialist in architectural salvage for over 35years.
Superb quality and one of the best examples of design from that period.
Finished in the traditional black grate polish which gives it a gunmetal appearance ( Grey ) and highlights the ornamentation of the casting.
This fireplace has a cast iron fireback with steel flue damper ( so you can shut the flue off when not in use) with 3 recast fire bricks.
