Victorian bedroom combination fireplace

A beautiful, reclaimed, cast iron combination fire likely to date to the late Victorian era, C.1880-1890. The fire is very ornate and has a fantastic design with pretty ferns on each side, above the arched opening and there is a decorative corbel in the centre and small decorative arched panel with scrolls within it. The fire has an arched opening that has repeating leaf border around it. The fire has curved front bars.
The iron has been blacked and polished in the middle, and primed white around the surround.
This item has its original flue damper, blackened with the same grate polish.
There is a fixing lug on each side, under the mantel, for fixings for attaching the fire to the wall.
