Victorian all in one fireplace

This is a stunning and original antique mantle combination cast iron fireplace that is sure to add a touch of elegance to any room.

Whether you're looking to add a touch of history to your home or simply appreciate the beauty of antique fireplaces, this stunning mantle combination cast iron fireplace is a must-have.

It was likely cast between 1880- 1900 and is a wonderful example of British architectural heritage, which would typically have taken pride of place in a small drawing room. It is made of solid cast iron in lovely condition.

The ironwork is rich in detail, with a splendid flat canopy over the opening, giving hints of the Victoriian design style. The richly decorative ironwork continues around the body, which is elegantly finished off with a set of front bars with ash pan cover.

The fire back and grate are made from heavyweight cast iron too.

We've finished the fireplace in traditional black grate polish. This  gives it a gunmetal sheen and highlights the ornamentation of the casting
