"The Victoria" cast iron fire surround ,this magnificent surround is in superb condition .
This Chimneypiece was manufactured by W & A.C. Russell & Company of the Scotia Foundry , Pendleton near Manchester , the design was registered 16th November 1886
It is a stunning surround, generously proportioned and retains its original mantle shelf with authentic foundry marks.
With no rear projection it is perfect to go over an existing chimney breast opening or against a wall.
A rare and elegant period design, this chimney piece is decorated with stunning fine castings. It has been professionally stripped, cleaned, protective coated. Polished to bring out its original character.
Made of solid, heavyweight cast iron, the whole thing is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina.
There are discreet mounting lugs on the underside of the mantle, for simple and safe installation.

182cm wide at mantle
36cm depth at mantle
155cm wide at bottom of the legs
178cm wide at the top of the legs
Inner aperture 100cm wide
Inner aperture 96cm high
Rear projection of the whole thing is 0cm, making it a great choice for fitting either against a flat wall or over an existing opening.
